This mail is to share a very sad news. One of our breakfast child died out of fever yesterday. She is a girl child of 6-7 years old. it seems dat she had fever and the parents took her to hospital in a very later stage. The seen which saw on sunday when we went for the breakfast programme was really pathetic. The body of the child was kept in the ground in front of the tent. No mat or not even a good piece of white cloth to cover.She had the same old cloths she wore before death. The mother was crying loud inside the tent, father - an young man of 24- 26 years - was sitting out side the tents with his neighbours. They said by twelve noon she will be buried some where near by.
Hailing from a culture where child is seen as a precious gift of god, the incident lead us to very conflicting thoughts on our roles and responsibilities to the people around us !!........... linto
